Is there such thing as a “1 hour loan”? Yes!

January 23, 2020 - Pawn Resources

Situation: You need cash. Like seriously need cash. Today.

You go online and try to find a fast convenient way to get cash.  You want cash in an hour? Cash in 24 hours? Cash fast?

What does Google find for you?  Mostly online payday loans.

Online payday loans are famous for their catchy slogans promising “Instant Cash” or “Get a Loan Today” and other similar flashy claims.  But did you know that many of those claims are actually false marketing?  Even illegal!  Online lenders that promise instant cash can get fined for saying those things.  The federal government (and Google) have started to crack down on all the crazy advertising slogans used by these online lenders, punishing the ones who overly promise “fast cash”.

Why are online lenders not allowed to advertise Instant Cash?

Because they can’t actually delivery money to you that fast!

Most of the time, online lenders only deposit the loan in your bank account the next morning, or even up to 2 business days later.  And if they DO offer same-day cash, it often costs an extra “same-day wire” fee.

So what if you really truly need cash fast?

You could still hope an online payday lender can wire you the money same-day, for an extra fee.

Or, if you have any items of value around your house or apartment, you could try a pawn shop.  Pawn Shops are the only truly way to get fast cash, even if you have bad credit.  You can either get a pawn loan for your stuff, or sell it outright for cash.  And since there is no credit check and no background check, you can get cash fast, really really fast.  1 hour loans are actually normal! (My boss pawned his wife’s ring and got cash within 15 minutes.)
