PawnFriday is a day where pawn shops across the US band together to draw customers into their stores with great deals on everything from jewelry to power tools. It takes place on October 27, 2017, which is the inaugural celebration of this special shopping day.
You might be wondering how this event was founded. At PawnGuru, we wanted to dedicate a day to pawn shops and the unique shopping experience they present to holiday shoppers.
While other days have been established for brick-and-mortar and e-commerce shops (e.g. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Prime Day, Singles Day), we wanted pawn shops to have their own piece of the holiday shopping pie.
The goals of PawnFriday include helping pawn shops gain more foot traffic and generating community awareness about the unique holiday shopping experience that pawn shops offer.
From great deals on unique gifts, to that treasure-hunting experience, there is much to tout about in the way of shopping locally via pawn shops.
When you sign up to participate in PawnFriday, your shop’s PawnFriday offers are included on the official PawnFriday web page. This means that local consumers that are searching for deals will be presented with your offers.
This is additional exposure for your pawn shop and will present an opportunity to get new customers and repeat customers.
PawnFriday is also another excuse to post on your social media, send a newsletter to current customers, or get generally “up” your marketing game for your shop.
