It never hurts to make a pawnbroker’s job easier. You might get yourself a better offer than if your DVD’s were all in different cases and not working.
The first step for how to pawn or sell DVD’s for the most money possible is listing your DVD’s on PawnGuru and see how much your local pawn shops will buy them for. To see how much pawn shops pay for DVD’s, this is the easiest way to find out without needing to leave your home and go from shop to shop for the best offer. Here are the steps:

The agreement will state that they’re loaning you X amount of dollars, using the DVD’s as collateral. Additionally, it will spell out the date by which you need to pay the loan back, as well as the fees and interest involved.
If you pawn DVD’s and don’t pay the loan back (plus interest and fees) by the agreed-upon date, then the pawn shop will claim full possession of your DVD’s and sell them.

I like your advice to make sure your DVDs are in their cases and working before handing them over. While it may seem like a small thing it might help you sell those items for more money because they will be in a better condition and will show that they were well taken care of while you owned them. It might be a good idea to sell DVDs to someone who only buys them so they can have a greater appreciation for them and may offer more money to you.
