As co-founder of PawnGuru, I see a lot of amazing items that get great offers on PawnGuru. There are some items that that have pictures and descriptions that don’t do the item justice, and I see this a lot when it comes to golf clubs. Golfing is a very expensive sport, and there a lot of players who are always in the market for great clubs for a great price. Sometimes great clubs are overlooked because people don’t properly post their clubs online. There was a previous article I wrote on how to sell or pawn your used golf clubs, but I’ve realized that I might’ve left some stuff out. If you have a pair of clubs you would like to pawn or sell, here are a few tips on how to properly post your clubs online.

Title and Description
Golfers who are in the market to buy a set of clubs for a great price may want a specific brand. It is very important to have a title with clear and easy to understand abbreviations. If your clubs are for left handed players or are clubs for women, you should add that to your title and the description. Check out my examples for a good and bad title.
Good Title- Titelist 5 Fairway Wood 13* Fuji graph reg flex shaft
Bad Title- Titelist 5 Fairway Wood
Your description needs to be a complete and honest assessment of your used clubs. You need to give the brand name and condition of each part of the club. The goal here is that the prospective buyer shouldn’t need to ask questions about your clubs.
Grip- Standard in great condition
Shaft- Graphite- great condition, no marks on shaft
Head- Original head in great condition
The importance of good, clear photos of sparkling clean golf clubs cannot be over-emphasized.
Two or three pictures are usually sufficient. Be sure to show the top, bottom and face of the club. If your used clubs have a special shaft or grip, make sure to include pictures of those parts. If you have any accessories that come with your used clubs, make sure to address that in the description and add pictures of them as well. Check out an example of great photos I’ve taken when of my wife’s used clubs she wanted to sell on PawnGuru.
If you follow these tips on how to properly post your used golf items on PawnGuru, you should have a lot of great offers in no time. Don’t forget to check out my previous blog on what pawn shops look for when evaluating used golf clubs.
