IPod took mp3 listening devices further by making them look slick, easy to use, and adding many features like games and the ability to hold videos and photos. Their popularity makes it easy to sell them to pawnshops. If you have an iPod you would like to pawn or sell, here are a few tips to get the most cash for your iPod.
Before you sell or pawn your iPod, make sure to back-up any everything that is in your iPod. You do not want the new user to have your pictures or any stored information. Once you’ve backed your iPod up, restore it to the original factory settings.
If you have the original paperwork and packaging of your iPod, make sure to bring it with you when you take it into the pawn shop. Pawn shops like items in their complete package because they’re easier to sell. This also includes any of the original accessories like the USB cord and headphones. If you also have a case that goes with your your iPod, include that to potentially increase your offer.
If you’re trying to sell your iPod on PawnGuru, make sure to provide a clear picture and clear description of your iPod. For more information on how to properly post your item on PawnGuru, check out my previous article on how to effectively post your item on PawnGuru.
