February 27, 2020 - Pawn Resources
PawnFriday takes place today, Friday, October 27th. On this day, pawn shops in America band together to offer exclusive deals on their merchandise. It’s a great way to increase new foot traffic and encourage existing customers to revisit your shop.
If you haven’t done much in the way of preparing for PawnFriday yet, here is a checklist of what you should do to get your pawn shop ready!
Do you have a list of your customers’ email addresses? If so, why not send a brief e-newsletter to announce your PawnFriday deals? This can be super easy and quick.
If you haven’t sent a newsletter to your customers before, this is a great excuse to start! You can use a free email newsletter tool such as SurveyMonkey to upload the email addresses and create a quick message about your PawnFriday deals. It really is simple!
Have you posted about PawnFriday yet on your social media channels? Whether you use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (or all), include a couple of announcements about PawnFriday.
At the very least, your messaging should include your deals and basic details about the event. If you throw in some photos or videos about the specific hot items you have on sale in particular, even better!
Your website should include some sort of messaging about PawnFriday. Make a quick update to your home page that mentions PawnFriday and what it is all about. Don’t forget to mention that it takes place today only!
You should have some sort of sign inside your shop, outside your shop (or in your window) that calls attention to PawnFriday and the deals involved.
Your staff should be fully aware of the deals that are being offered for the day, and they should help make your customers that walk into the store aware of this, in case they missed your messaging.
