Building A Great Pawn Shop Locator

Finding stuff online is so easy these days.

Finding a pawn shop online is easy!

Our founders personally discovered just how hard it is to find local pawn shops online. We tried to pawn a few of our own items in the Detroit area, and it was a pain!  Google was really the best way to find most shops, but Google only gives you the address and website of each shop.  (And a lot of pawn shops don’t even have a website!  Even Google didn’t help find those shops!)

And even after we did find local pawn shops, it was still a pain to drive to each one separately to get cash offers and estimates for our stuff.  In fact, we spent all day going to multiple Detroit-area pawn shops to get offers for our stuff.

For typical pawn shop customers who are already pinched for time and cash, that won’t work.

We think we solved the problem with Pawn Guru’s local pawn shop search tool.

We let you A) find local pawn shops AND B) get cash offers for your stuff, all from your phone or computer.

Local cash offers get delivered directly to your email or via SMS, whether you want to sell or pawn your stuff.  And since we don’t share your private contact information with pawn shops, it’s a great way to safely and securely search your area for local pawn shops.

We’re always looking for ways to make local pawn shop search even better.  Send us your feedback and ideas!
